strategic location RPM has found the ”fulcrum point” of this booming international economy. From their headquarters in Otay Mesa, RPM is able to serve both San Diego County and the Tijuana, Ensenada, Tecate “El Triangulo Dorado”- Golden Triangle of Baja California. The RPM branch in El Centro, provides complete coverage for the Imperial County/Mexicali market. Continued growth and success in this area of Baja California will find a new RPM/SEMMSA facility to serve the Mexicali valley by the beginning of 2001.

New Facilities

In 1989 investors of RPM/Clarklift, now known as RPM Material Handling Company, incorporated SEMMSA- Servicios A Equipos Para Manejo De Materiales, S.A. de C.V. They recognized the importance of being a completely legal business entity in Mexico. Of equal importance was the ability to serve all segments of business and industry in Mexico. SEMMSA has the ability to invoice in dollars or pesos. In a unified effort RPM Material Handling Company and SEMMSA has all four corners of their territory- San Diego, Tijuana, El Centro, and Mexicali capable of successfully handling customers material handling requirements. Recently, SEMMSA moved into an impressive new facility in Tijuana, providing even better service to their growing customer base. By the beginning of 2001, SEMMSA in Mexicali will be in a new, larger facility.

Total Quality Management: A Team Approach

The international business community RPM Material Handling Company and SEMMSA serves in both the San Diego/Imperial County market and Baja California requires a Total Quality Management Approach in meeting the day-to-day material handling requirements of such manufacturing giants as SONY, Sanyo, Samsung, Matsushita, Chemtronics, and countless others. Our “Team” captains and coordinators have the pulse on daily activity. With a crew of thirty-three field technicians, eight in the shop, as well as a transportation operator, tire pressman, parts runner, and a complete staff of in-house support people, RPM Material Handling Company has the talent required to get the job done. The “Team” captains have collectively over 250 years experience; the background it takes to successfully help you specify and maintain the material handling equipment you use everyday.
